New Youtube Studio

There’s a cantina under my house that has been quietly becoming something else.

Over the past couple of months, incrementally, I’ve been converting it into a proper studio. Most of the equipment was already there – it was the last few pieces that finally brought it all together. Designed background set, professional lighting, cameras mounted for front, side, and top-down angles, proper sound treatment. It’s built to stay set up and ready, which means the barrier between having an idea and actually making something is now significantly lower.

The plan for the channel covers a lot of ground. Photography and gear, obviously. But also travel stories, creative experiments, the kind of humor that only really makes sense if you’ve spent any time trying to make a living with a camera in Italy, and the behind-the-scenes reality of what this practice actually looks like day to day. Long-form content. The kind that takes time to make properly and deserves a proper space to make it in.

The studio is done. The content is coming.

You can find the channel at https://www.youtube.com/@thephotograflaneur – subscribe if you want to be there when it starts moving.
