Thoughts and Ponderings about Monteoliveto

This statue of Charles II of Spain is the main focus of this fountain. Work on the fountain began in the 17th century, and it took about 5 years to complete. Can you imagine personally working on something for 5 years – knowing that it would last for hundreds of years?
