Meet The Photograflâneur

Hi, I’m Scott Allen Wilson.

Welcome to my site- I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Southern California native who moved to Florence in 2012, and who now calls Liguria home along with my wife, our beautiful daughter, and our two dogs.

My background in film photography taught me to slow down and see the world through more thoughtful lenses. Moving to Europe reshaped my perspective entirely- and played a big role in enabling me to grow into the infinitely curious man that I am today. To this day digital photography, and the creation of fine art helps me to visually share how I see and experience the world, and to connect deeply with like-minded curious and intentional travellers just like you.

This space is where I share my passion for travel photography, my belief in more sustainable and intentional travel, and the stories behind the images I capture. Through my work, I aim to make the world feel a little more accessible, connected, and human.
