In November 2023, my wife Gaby and I got married inside the Sala Rossa of Palazzo Vecchio, walked the streets of Florence in the rain with two good friends behind the cameras, and threw a party at Palazzo San Niccolò with the people we love most. Two weeks later, we packed up our life and moved to Recco, on the Ligurian coast, to begin a new chapter.
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for black and white photography. Over the years, working professionally, I’ve discovered that, in my experience, shooting in color is often more challenging than capturing a compelling black and white image.
Florence has given me countless unforgettable memories, and recently I found myself revisiting some of them.
