The Art of Feeling Inspired – An Expanded Florence Collection

Photo of photographer Scott Allen Wilson taking a photo with a canon 5d mk iv with an attached 70-200mm lens

This blog post is about re-kindling inspiration – about giving yourself the opportunity to slow down, take a spin, and feel inspired over and over again. The result of me doing this recently inspired these new additions to my Florence Collection – photos that I’m so excited about, and that have been a long time coming. I hope you enjoy them ?

Parma and URTH

The first time I came to visit Parma was probably in 2013. Parma was high on the list at the time, because one of my favorite things to eat is Prosciutto di Parma, which is a very famous type of cured ham that is made there.

Cinque Terre, Party of Six

This trip Gaby and I brought our two dogs with us, and we also came with her parents. I also feel like I’ve grown a lot as a person since the pandemic started, and I’m so thankful that I can truly be this new and improved version of myself with Gaby, but also with her parents that I feel really accept me and enjoy my company.

Naples – Where the Soul of Italy Still Lives

Colorful streets of Naples, Italy taken by Photographer Scott Allen Wilson

The way that the city lets you experience its spirit and authentic Italian culture makes it possibly my favorite city in Italy. I’m so excited to present you my new Naples Collection, a collection that I think beautifully captures this city’s most iconic architecture, and portrays its energetic and raw atmosphere.

Trekking in Monte Morello

Monte Morello is one of the places that is just outside of Florence, and offers the possibility of hiking in the woods. There are a variety of places around Florence to do this, though in most cases you need a car or to take the bus to get there. Thanks Alex for taking us there so I had a reason to strap on my hiking shoes 🙂

The Magical City of Florence – My New Collection

ponte vecchio

Photography has taken me to unimaginable places, but throughout my years in Italy, Florence will always have a special place in my heart. A city full of color, life, and rich energy- the details, textures and soft shades in the architecture dresses its streets with an enchanting, yet traditional vibe.
